Seat Sacks Giveaway!

About 5 years ago today, I started teaching 3rd grade in the tiniest classroom EVER! I had one metal filing cabinet to store a lot of teaching materials. I hid everything under my curtained teacher's desk. My students' tables weren't really tables, they were the round kinds and I had 24 students with NO place to put any of their materials or belonging. To come up with a solution to this madness, I decided to order myself some chair pockets. They were a HUGE investment, but at this point, I was desperate! (I tried searching for classroom pictures of that room, but I must've not kept any in hopes to forget about that awful experience!)

Fast forward 2 years later, I moved to a bigger and better classroom and I still kept using the pocket chairs.

Now, I know you can't tell from this picture, but the pocket chairs are starting to wear and tear. I have been fortunate enough to have met some WONDERFUL parent volunteers who always take my pocket chairs home during long weekends and holidays to fix them up for me.

Now, fast forward to 2014-2015 School Year and this is what you'll see some of my pocket chairs experiencing:
Sad, right?!? The side is falling off. My mom saw it while helping me set up my classroom this year and started to staple them for me.

Anyways, why am I talking about used pocket chairs you may ask? While reading up on some bloggers that I follow, I saw that Lori from Teaching with Love and Laughter is having a seat sack giveaway. I, from experience, know how expensive pocket chairs can be. So not only did I enter the contest to win a pack of 25 seat sacks, but I wanted to spread the word on this awesome giveaway happening. Just go on over to Lori's blog and enter the rafflecopter! (I'm of course, crossing fingers that I win!!!)
