September Currently - A Long Deserved 3 Day Weekend

Good Morning, there! It feels SO nice to not have to set the alarm and snooze for a bit 5 times each morning to the sound of an obnoxious alarm sound. SIGH...woke up with the sun shining on my face and to the sound of PURE NOTHING! It feels Uh-Mazing!!!

And...because today marks the first day of September, you know I will be linking up with Farley from Oh' Boy 4th Grade for her September Currently. YAY!

Listening: Arianna Grande-"Break Free" & Kenny Loggins-"Footloose". Okay...so I have a confession. I did NOT like Arianna Grande when she had a show on Nickelodeon at all whatsoever! She had this role of a deep voiced awkward/obnoxious teenager. BUT, as a singer I think she is SUPER talented and AMAZING! I also can't stop listening to "Footloose" because I have been thinking of some ideas for my grade level's October performance.

Loving: Labor Day 3 Day Weekend ...HEY HEY HEEEEYY!!! That's right, it is a day for us, hard working people, to relax and DO nothing (even though I have tons to do). At least I get to be in my PJ's! Am I right?

Thinking: It may be 4 months too soon, but I am already thinking about Winter Break. This year I get 3 weeks for Winter Break and 2 weeks for Spring Break! I may be taking a family vacation to Taiwan and possibly Japan IF tickets are on sale. WOOT!

Wanting: Yosi Samra shoes (sandals, flats, loafers, etc...I want it!) Look how adorable these are:

Needing: I STILL need to unpack all my boxes at home from June! Thinking about it makes me want to cry!!!

3 Trips: I couldn't just pick 3, so I picked 4 because I like to be different and weird!
  • Greece: The whole country just looks GORGEOUS! I want to go ride a donkey up the villas and snorkel with fishes.
  • African Safari: I love observing wild life! I just want to see them in their natural environment.
  • Hawaii: My family have been there, but I haven't. I would love to go and enjoy the beautiful islands of Hawaii (PLUS eat some Spam Masubi).
  • Maldives Islands: Looks like the perfect blue water getaway for kayaking, snorkeling, and cruising.
I noticed I like tropical places and I guess you could say I am a summer time, flip flop wearing, shorts all the time kinda gal!

Yupp...that does it for my September Currently. Don't forget to link up with Farley:

  1. Power to So Cal! I'm in San Diego! Where are you located? I've wanted to have a California blogger meet-up but I never come across CA bloggers.

Your blog is adorable! I love the shoes too :)

    1. Hi Katie! I am located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I LOVE SD! I took my 3rd graders to the Wild Animal Safari Park last school year. They had a blast! I know last month there was a So.Cal meet up in O.C. I didn't end up going because I was last minute changed to a 2/3 combo a few days before school starting so I needed time to plan.

Your blog is super cute too! I am your newest follower!

    1. Hi Christa!
Thank you so much for the compliment! I am currently teaching in Redlands, CA. I taught 2nd grade in S. San Francisco for 2 years when I first started teaching. I LOVE NorCal! I think I took the BART to Walnut Creek once by accident (when I first didn't know anything about transferring BARTs). I really miss the city!
